Formby

Matty and I went to Formby for a few days this weekend and had a lovely time.

My oldest friend lives in Formby, near Southport, where I went to boarding school for a while when I was much younger. So the primary reason for the visit was to see her, but we made a bit of a trip of it too!

We went to Formby Point which is a beautiful bit of coast, and walked through the pine woods (mainly keeping to the trails!) to the beach, where we had (sandy!) sandwiches and crisps.

The evening was spent at a lovely pub with friends, catching up and gossiping!

Monday was Matty’s birthday, and we went up to Southport for the afternoon, following a lazy morning and all-day breakfast at 3pm!
